Mrs. Atyab Alshatti joined Taher Group Law Firm in the year 2021 and currently serves as the “Head of the International Department” of the Group. she has more than 10 years of PQE in law and has worked in the legal field in Kuwait for more than ten years. She holds bachelor’s degree from Law School Kuwait University. Mrs. Atyab focuses mainly on international department clients, expatriates, and locals of their requirements in the State of Kuwait as well as their overseas interests. She provides legal advice, consultations and assistance in all areas of laws related to expatriate population in the State of Kuwait.

She also possesses vast strengths to execute inbound legal referral in a timely and periodic manner along with directing outbound referrals and legal assignments in order to successfully achieve the client’s objective. She is adept at providing legal opinions and advice on Franchise, distribution, consignment, Licensing - Software's, credit bureau, Medical & Pharmaceuticals, hospitality, corporate acquisition, Incorporation of companies, Income tax on foreign companies etc.  She has extensive experience in international cooperation, legal referral, and coordination with international legal allies, including TAGLaw® and IRGLOBAL®. He manages the legal needs of clients in Kuwait locally and internationally.

- Participated in the preparation of a UPR report on human rights in Kuwait, submitted to the High Commissioner of Human Rights in June 2014. - Participated in the preparation of a report on Women's Rights in Kuwait, submitted to the CEDAW commission in September 2014.- Participated in the preparation of a shadow report, paralleling the Kuwait State's report, on "the compliance of Kuwait State with the International Covenant on the Civil and Political Rights, submitted in September 2015 to the Human Rights Commission Concerning with the International Covenant on the Civil and Political Rights. - Participated in the preparation of a shadow report, paralleling the Kuwait State's report, on the procedures taken by Kuwait State to enforce the Arab Charter on Human Rights, submitted in December 2016 to the Arab Commission for Human Rights. - Participated in the preparation of a report on Women's Rights in Kuwait, submitted to the CEDAW commission in February 2017. - Participated in the preparation of a report on Kuwait State's compliance with CEDAW, submitted in July 2017 to the Commission Against Discrimination. - Participated in the preparation of a reports monitoring violations Kuwait Society for Human Rights. - participated in the Dutch Visitor Program which is a program prepared by the ministry of foreign affairs in the Netherlands, to know more about human rights. - Participated as an IVLP International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) The International Visitor Leadership Program Ministry of foreign affairs the United States of America

Mrs. Atyab has over 10 years of post-qualified experience in law, legal consultancy and contract drafting. She has contributes towards growth of the international department and its administration and the organization of legal affairs within the department. she has also contributed to the provision of numerous consultations, drafting investment contracts and franchises, and organizing commercial legal affairs for foreign companies and investors in Kuwait. she also contributed to managing the labor law issues according to the needs of the companies operating in Kuwait. she is adept at drafting of contracts and expressing his views and opinion on the commercial aspects of companies in relation to the Labor laws and other relevant laws.
