Mr Khaled Taher Alkhateeb, a founding partner at Taher Group Law Firm, has accrued nearly 40 years of distinguished legal experience, practicing before all Kuwaiti courts, including the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court. A graduate from Kuwait University with a Bachelor of Law degree, Mr. Alkhateeb has been a member of the esteemed Kuwaiti Lawyers Association since 1985.

Within the Association, he has held notable roles such as a member of the Disciplinary Committee, a member of the Arbitration Center, and a position on the Board of Directors in 1992. Between 1997 and 2000, he held the esteemed position of Vice Chairman of the Board. Since 2005, he has been an Arbitrator in the Kuwait Bar Association. Among his prominent cases, Mr. Alkhateeb has handled significant Homeland Security cases, including the case of the late Emir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

 

Specialization and Experience:
As an international lawyer and arbitrator, Mr. Alkhateeb possesses comprehensive expertise in Commercial Law, Corporate Governance, Taxation, and Commercial Arbitration. He has considerable experience drafting and reviewing commercial and investment contracts and is adept in litigation and arbitration. As a leading member of Taher Group Law Firm, he has managed commercial and investment companies and has argued critical cases across all courts, including the State Security Court.

His commitment to professional growth is evident in his participation in courses on the legal status of the arbitrator held at the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association and his attendance at a study to develop arbitrator skills at the Arbitration Center of the Kuwait Lawyers Society.
