Dr. Mahmoud Melhem is a legal consultant specializing in international and commercial law. He serves as a lecturer in civil law at the University of France, a visiting professor at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, a lecturer at Kuwait International Law College, and a legal advisor specializing in civil law, obligations, contracts, and general insurance. Dr. Melhem holds a Master’s degree in Private Law from Perpignan University, Montpellier Academy in France, and a PhD in Civil Law with the right to lecture. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a degree in Philosophy, with honors, from the Lebanese University.

Dr. Melhem has published numerous articles and research papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, participated in esteemed international conferences, and chaired several scientific conferences, including a conference on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on legal relations at Kuwait International Law College. He also co-authored the second volume of Evidence Law, focusing on electronic signatures, in collaboration with Dr. Mahmoud Al-Maghrabi. This work, approved by the academic committee, has been incorporated into the curriculum since 2020. Additionally, Dr. Melhem has supervised several master’s theses in France and Kuwait.
