Kuwaiti Lawyers Stand Out Among the Best in the Middle East

* Taher Group Earns a Nomination as One of the Best Law Firms in Kuwait.

The Middle Eastern legal community is abuzz in anticipation of a pivotal event—the ALB Awards for 2023, set to unfold on October 5 in Dubai.

Several Kuwaiti law firms have rightfully secured nominations from their peers within the legal fraternity, undergoing evaluation by legal scholars and esteemed university professors. The nominees are subject to a rigorous assessment process conducted by Thomson Reuters, which underscores the acknowledgment of the achievements and significant contributions made by Kuwaiti lawyers in the legal and economic sectors over the previous year.

Among the nominees this year is Taher Group Law Firm, established by Professor Abdulaziz Taher AlKhateeb in 1969. The firm has been nominated for the "Best Law Firm in Kuwait" award, standing alongside other esteemed firms such as ASAR, GLA, and Meysan, a nod to their distinctiveness and innovation in the legal arena.

Furthermore, the nomination of Dr. Fawaz AlKhateeb for the "Best Managing Partner" award, amidst other partners, accentuates the dedication and leadership exhibited by Kuwaiti lawyers in achieving legal and economic triumphs across the Gulf and Arab world.

It's significant to note that Dr. AlKhateeb, through the Taher Group, has facilitated deals amounting to $2.3 billion dollars, thereby bolstering the economy and cementing the group's reputation on an international platform. محامين كويتيين ضمن الأفضل في الشرق الأوسط 

يترقب العالم القانوني في الشرق الأوسط حدث قانوني مهم يتمثل في جوائز ALB لعام 2023، المقرر إقامته في 5 أكتوبر في دبي. 

وقد حظي مجموعة من مكاتب المحاماة الكويتية بترشيح مستحق من قِبل زملائهم في المجتمع القانوني، حيث يتم التقييم من خلال خبراء قانونيين وأساتذة من جامعات بارزة.

ويخضع المرشحون لعملية تقييم مطولة من قِبل تومسون رويترز، مما يُظهر الاعتراف بإنجازات المحامين الكويتيين وإسهاماتهم الكبيرة في القطاع القانوني والاقتصادي خلال العام الماضي.

ومن ضمن المرشحين لهذا العام  مجموعة طاهر القانونية، التي تأسست من قبل استاذ عبدالعزيز طاهر الخطيب في عام 1969، حيث رشح المكتب لجائزة "أفضل مكتب قانوني في الكويت"، إلى جانب مكاتب أخرى مرموقة مثل ASAR وGLA و ميسان، وهو ما يعد اعترافًا بتفردهم وابتكارهم في المجال القانوني. 

من جهة أخرى، يُبرز ترشيح الدكتور فواز الخطيب لجائزة "أفضل شريك إداري" ضمن شركاء اخرين التزام وقيادة المحامين الكويتيين في تحقيق نجاحات قانونية واقتصادية عبر الخليج والوطن العربي.

يُشار إلى أن الدكتور الخطيب، من خلال مجموعة طاهر، ساهم في إبرام صفقات بقيمة 2.3 مليار دولار، مُعززًا بذلك الاقتصاد ومثبتًا لسمعة المجموعة على الصعيد الدولي. الترشيحات تُظهر الاعتراف بالجهود المبذولة وتعزز من مكانة الكويت في المشهد القانوني العالمي، مُؤكدةً على التزام مكاتب المحاماة الكويتية بتوفير حلول قانونية مبتكرة وخبرة استثنائية، وتجسيد لقيم الابتكار والنزاهة في مجال القانون على مستوى إقليمي ودولي.
