Taher Group Law Firm for advocacy and advisory services (Lawyers Abdulaziz, Khaled, Jamal Taher Alkhateeb and Fawaz Khaled Alkhateeb) has entered into two cooperation agreements with two leading offices, namely Pamir Law Group and Daxin Global Co., Ltd., based in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China.

This cooperation was concluded during meetings between the office representatives at the IR Global conference held in London in October 2018. IR Global is an alliance of an international network of independent professional offices and companies providing professional services in various legal, accounting, and financial specializations for companies and individuals in more than 155 territories and jurisdictions worldwide.

The founder of Taher Group Law Firm, lawyer Abdulaziz Taher Alkhateeb, stated that the agreement aims to enhance cooperation in order to provide specialized assistance to clients within the jurisdiction of each office. He noted that this step came as a result of the implementation of several agreements between the governments of the State of Kuwait and China, which include elements of investment cooperation between the two countries.

He also added that this initiative aligns with the firm’s long-standing objective of international cooperation, which has been part of the group’s strategy over the past fifty years. Over the last five years, the firm has expanded by opening a branch in Cairo, Egypt, to extend legal assistance to international clients in the fields of trade, investment, taxation, and real estate.

The group has also been ranked among the best offices in the region by international rating and evaluation companies and has obtained ISO 9001 certification from Lloyd’s, a UK-based company.

Alkhateeb further stated that the purpose of the cooperation agreement with leading Chinese offices is to meet market needs and organize events and awareness activities within each party’s jurisdiction, aiming to promote legal, financial, and cultural awareness and to facilitate understanding of the judicial systems of both countries to support professional work and attract investors.

Joe Chang, Vice Chairman of Daxin Global Co., Ltd., stated that this agreement responds to the need of the hour to enhance financial and legal understanding for interested parties and investors in both countries. The company operates within a network of accounting alliances across the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States, with the aim of building international business. The company was awarded the “Rising Star Network of the Year 2018” in London by the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB).

Nicholas V. Chen, Managing Partner of Pamir Law Group, expressed satisfaction with the cooperation, stating that it aims to enhance mutual understanding and benefits for stakeholders in Kuwait and China, including government, private sector, academia, and NGOs. He emphasized commitment to international cooperation through capacity building and sustainability to achieve win-win outcomes for all parties.

أبرمت مجموعة طاهر القانونية للمحاماة والاستشارات (المحامون عبدالعزيز وخالد وجمال طاهر الخطيب وفواز خالد الخطيب) اتفاقيتي تعاون مع مكتبين رائدين هما Pamir Law Group و Daxin Global Co., Ltd. في بكين عاصمة جمهورية الصين الشعبية.

وجاء هذا التعاون خلال لقاءات ممثلي المكتب في مؤتمر IR Global الذي عقد في لندن في أكتوبر 2018، وهو تحالف لشبكة دولية من المكاتب والشركات المهنية المستقلة التي تقدم خدمات مهنية في مجالات القانون والمحاسبة والمالية في أكثر من 155 إقليم واختصاص حول العالم.

وصرّح مؤسس مجموعة طاهر القانونية المحامي عبدالعزيز طاهر الخطيب بأن الاتفاق يهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون لتقديم المساعدة المتخصصة للعملاء في نطاق اختصاص كل مكتب، مشيراً إلى أن هذه الخطوة جاءت نتيجة تنفيذ عدد من الاتفاقيات بين حكومتي دولة الكويت وجمهورية الصين والتي تتضمن جوانب تعاون استثماري بين البلدين.

وأضاف أن هذه الخطوة تأتي ضمن توجه المجموعة في تعزيز التعاون الدولي الذي تمارسه الإدارة خلال الخمسين عاماً الماضية، حيث تم خلال السنوات الخمس الأخيرة افتتاح فرع للمجموعة في القاهرة بجمهورية مصر العربية بهدف تقديم الدعم القانوني للعملاء الدوليين في مجالات التجارة والاستثمار والضرائب والعقارات.

كما أشار إلى أن المجموعة حصلت على تصنيف من أفضل المكاتب في المنطقة من قبل شركات تصنيف وتقييم دولية، إضافة إلى حصولها على شهادة الجودة ISO 9001 من شركة ليدز البريطانية.

وأوضح الخطيب أن الهدف من التعاون مع المكاتب الصينية هو تلبية احتياجات السوق وتنظيم الفعاليات والأنشطة التوعوية ضمن نطاق كل طرف، بهدف تعزيز الثقافة القانونية والمالية وتسهيل فهم الأنظمة القضائية في البلدين لدعم العمل المهني وجذب المستثمرين.

ومن جانبه، قال جو تشانغ نائب رئيس شركة Daxin Global إن هذا التعاون يأتي استجابة للحاجة الملحة لتعزيز الفهم المالي والقانوني للمستثمرين في البلدين، موضحاً أن الشركة جزء من شبكة تحالفات محاسبية في الصين وتايوان وأستراليا وهونغ كونغ وسنغافورة والولايات المتحدة بهدف بناء أعمال دولية، وقد حصلت على جائزة Rising Star Network لعام 2018 في لندن من International Accounting Bulletin.

كما أعرب نيكولاس في. تشن الشريك الإداري في Pamir Law Group عن سعادته بالتعاون، مؤكداً أنه يهدف إلى تعزيز الفهم والمنفعة المتبادلة بين الأطراف في الكويت والصين بما يشمل القطاع الحكومي والخاص والأكاديمي والمنظمات غير الحكومية، مع الالتزام بتعزيز التعاون الدولي وبناء القدرات والاستدامة لتحقيق منافع مشتركة لجميع الأطراف.
